What you'll leave with from this memory quilt sewing Fresno class

Memory quilt sewing Fresno — you'll leave with the cut and laid-out building blocks of your quilt — ready to assemble in Part 2 on October 24. Melissa builds a custom pattern per student so onesies, adult shirts, and small items all piece together the right way. This is where the quilt takes shape.

Why I love teaching this one

A memory quilt is the most personal thing I know how to teach. You're not just learning to cut and piece fabric — you're learning to work with shirts, baby clothes, curtains, whatever you've been holding onto because you couldn't throw it away. I help you figure out what you have, how to cut it without losing the part that matters, and how to lay it out so it looks intentional. After thirty years of sewing, this is still the class that gets me. By the end of Part 1 you'll have a quilt top that's yours in a way no store-bought blanket ever could be.
